You can pout, you can cry, and you can scream — but your Facebook profile will be converted to a Timeline by the fall anyway.

We’ve known that the change is inevitable from the very startand most of us are already using Timeline, Facebook’s latest profile design, either by choice or because the social network switched us already. But there are a couple of hold-outs among Facebook’s 955 million members, folks desperately clinging on to their beloved old profile layouts. 

Well, as TechCrunch’s Josh Constine points out, there’ll be no more of that! Folks who are still using the old profile design should expect prompts telling them that it’s time to switch to Timeline. After the appearance of that prompt, they will get seven days to sort things out — before their profiles switch to Timeline automatically.
