After a two year legal battle, arson and a bomb threat, the Islamic Center of Murfreesboro will finally open its doors on Friday after the Justice Departmentsued the county to allow the newly constructed mosque to open its doors.

Officials in Rutherford County, Tennessee issued a temporary occupancy permit allowing the building to be used while a permanent permit is pending, the Associated Press reports.
