Concerned Women for America fired a few insults on Wednesday at women’s health advocate Sandra Fluke, who is slated to introduce President Obama at a campaign event in Colorado.
“We celebrate the fact that Sandra Fluke is gainfully employed so she can pay for her own contraceptives,” said CWA president Penny Nance in a statement. “Until now, Ms. Fluke and Julia have been the poster children of the Obama administration; it’s all about what kind of free stuff they can get from the government.”
Since Fluke was infamously denied the chance to testify before Congress in February about the medical importance of contraception coverage, the recent Georgetown Law graduate has become one of the nation’s most well-known advocates for the preventative health coverage provisions in the Affordable Care Act.
