In new poll, Obama has 4-point lead on Romney heading into conventions
NBC News: A new poll conducted by NBC News and the Wall Street Journal shows President Barack Obama with a 4-point lead over Mitt Romney before conventions start next week.
Obama gets support from 48 percent of voters, while Romney gets 44 percent. In July, Obama was leading by six points.
“In a smaller sample of voters living in 12 key battleground states – Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Michigan, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Wisconsin – Obama leads Romney by three points, 49 percent to 46 percent.”
