Rep. Todd Akin believes that national Republican groups could come around to his Missouri Senate bid against Democratic Sen. Claire McCaskill after the Sept. 25 deadline for Akin to pull out of the race passes, Bloomberg reports.
“I would expect, if that’s going to happen, you’ll see it after about the 25th,” Akin told reporters Monday.
Akin also reiterated that he is not getting out of the race.
