(via Mitt Romney would ban abortion, President Obama says | ksdk.com)
President Obama has really been pushing women’s issues lately, and now his campaign has a new ad out saying Republican Mitt Romney would ban abortion if he could.
The ad replays a moment during a Republican primary debate in which moderator Anderson Cooper asks GOP candidates, “if Roe v. Wade was overturned, Congress passed a federal ban on all abortions, and it came to your desk — would you sign it? ‘Yes’, or ‘no?’”
Responded Romney: “I’d be delighted to sign that bill.”
The ad come amid signs in polls that Romney has improved his standing among female voters.
